I am a current member, so do I need to re-enrol?
YES. At the end of 2023, the membership is reset in the UMAS membership system. All members need to log in to re-enrol and confirm or amend their membership details for 2024
Do I retain my previous membership number?
YES. You retain your member number forever. Even if you have previously been a member and not re-enrolled for a year or more your member number is reserved for you.
If you attended U3A during 2022 or 2023 your membership number is printed on your membership badge.

When can I enrol?
2023 enrolments are now closed. 2024 enrolments will open on Monday 4 December 2023 from 9.00am once course details are finalised. We encourage early enrolment as there is a higher chance you will be able to enrol in the course/s of your choice.

Alternatively, you can complete and submit a form and submit it by mail to U3A Wonthaggi PO Box 467 Wonthaggi Vic 3995.
How will U3A manage courses that are expected to be oversubscribed?
A number of courses will initially have all enrolling members wait listed. These courses are those that are expected to be over-subscribed. Members will be advised if they are accepted into these courses.
Will I be automatically enrolled in courses/activities?
Apart from identified wait listed courses most members are expected to be accepted into the courses they select when they enrol for 2024.
When do I pay my membership fee?
Once you have selected a course or activity a Membership fee will be charged which will show in your Cart and on your invoice. It is recommended that you use Billpay to do this as indicated on your invoice. Please include your membership number and/or your name.
How will I know if I am accepted into a wait listed course?
Members will receive an email identifying the courses in which they have been accepted or waitlisted.
Will I receive a new member’s badge?
Renewing members: NO. Please retain the badge, lanyard and plastic pouch previously issued. If you require a replacement badge, email to email@example.com
New members: YES. Your tutor/ facilitator will distribute membership badges at the start of each course or activity.
